Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: New cover edition

Hello everyone! Today I'm actually going to be talking about the seventh and final instalment of the Harry Potter series. Yes, I know it probably sounds very strange as it's been out for years now and the movie has been released but yesterday I found a little gem as I was looking through the bookshop.

I have been a huge Potterhead for years and I have grown up with the series and supported it all the way. Obviously, being a massive fan can sometimes lead to impulsive buys of merchandise and exactly this happened when I found a new cover edition of the Deathly Hallows that I had not yet got. I had briefly seen this design elsewhere, but wasn't actually that keen on it but when I saw it yesterday I was immediately drawn to it with an overwhelming feeling of excitement and felt like I should get it.

So, I did indeed get the different addition which is shown above. I think I actually prefer this cover to the original because it's not as busy as the other edition and I like how the title's in a different font and "Harry Potter" is in gold writing which is a really nice touch. Apart from the covers and that this is a paperback and my other copy is a hardback, there's no other differences but I think it's nice because this version will appeal to a different audience who don't want to buy the others which could be seen as a little childish (I personally love the original cover designs but this is very nice as well).

I also got "Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them" which I haven't read yet, but I had a cheeky little peek at the first page and it's already brilliant. It also has little side notes and scribbles from Harry, Ron and Hermione so I'm looking forward to reading it!

So that's it for this post and the next thing I'm going to blog about is a new beauty product that I got recently, which I think deserves a post! Write you all soon!

2014 Is Here!!

First of all, Happy New Year to everyone! I haven't been on in a few days as I've actually been busy for once. (Still not sure if I like socialising). But, I'm going to be very cliché here and say: new year, new me. Not in the way that people say it and don't actually do anything; no, I'm actually going to make a fresh start this year. The last four years have not been easy for me, especially 2013, however this year I'm going to try and make a massive change to my life: Recovery.

I'm not going to go into heaps of detail because it's not needed and I don't really want to share that information to practically anyone and everyone. The main thing is that over the past years, I have been in a very bad place and things have been tough; even little tasks like getting out of bed or making a cup of tea. I want to change this though and this is where recovery comes in. I want my life back and know it's not going to be easy but I know that's going to be worth it.

Anyway, I hope 2014 brings you all lots of happiness and memories and I'll be posting again very soon as I went shopping today!
